Hi, we are Will and Will, best friends since four years old but never colleagues…until Sproot Baby, a baby brand with a purpose was born.

Now, you might be wondering what two guys who have no obvious background in fashion or retail are doing launching a baby brand. But hear us out.

We are passionate about sustainability and doing things better for us and our planet. As a result we are constantly disappointed that large-scale fashion houses and high-street retailers always seem to penalise this choice with their pricing. This is fine for adults who can buy better quality items that last. But the problem really hit home when one of us had a baby. All of a sudden you have the same issue but with a need to buy new clothes every three months as the little human grows!

Hence Sproot Baby.

We are only starting our journey, but we want Sproot Baby to be different and to change the way parents think about their child’s clothing needs.

Central to our mission is the belief that it is our duty as a manufacturer and retailer to care for our products for their entire life. This includes their end of life. That time when you as parents are finished with them, when your baby has become a toddler or they are so stained they can’t appear in anymore cute photos.

That’s where we come in. As well as making great essentials, we will take back your used items and upcycle them to give them a new life reducing textile waste and what ends up in landfill.

What’s more, we hope to realise real cost savings by doing this and want to share them with you. Planet friendly, sustainable clothing that meets you everyday needs should be available to all without penalties.

🧵 What materials are Sproot Baby products made from?

All Sproot Baby products are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. We choose GOTS cotton because it’s soft on sensitive skin, responsibly produced, and designed to last through everyday wear and washing.

👶 How do I choose the best size for my child?

We recommend choosing your child’s size based on their current age and height. Please refer to our sizing guide here.

🧺 How should I wash my new Sproot clothes?

Our products have been tested at 40 degrees and tumble-dried in medium heat and come out soft and comfortable for your little one. Of course, as a sustainable brand, we would encourage you to wash at 30°C and air-dry where possible. It helps the planet and the longevity of your Sproot items.

↩️ How do I return or exchange an item to you?

If you’d like to return an item, please email hello@sprootbaby.com with your order number. At the moment, we handle exchanges as a return followed by a new order. Get in touch with us and we’ll help make the process as smooth as possible.

Preloved Box FAQs

📏 How do you ensure quality for preloved items?

Every preloved item goes through a manual quality check. We only include clothes that meet our standards for comfort, durability, and everyday wear which are at minimum 70% cotton. As with any preloved item, we recommend washing before first use.

🎁 What can I expect in a Preloved Box?

Each Preloved Box includes 10 thoughtfully curated baby clothing items, chosen for daily wear, practical, soft, and versatile pieces you’ll actually use. You can have a look through our collection here!

Send-back & Credit FAQs

♻️ What happens to the clothes I send back?

We review and sort every item that comes in, and depending on its quality or type, we send the items on to be repurposed, resold, recycled, or redesign them into something new — making your buying journey fully circular and ensuring your clothes never end up in landfills.

👕 Do I have to send back only Sproot Baby clothes?

Nope! We accept all baby clothes from any brand, in any condition — stained, bobbled, or damaged. Every piece has value in the loop.

📦 How do I get my send-back bag?

Every Sproot order comes in a free resealable bag that can be sent back to us. If you have not ordered a Sproot product, you can order your free send-back bag here.

🚚 Where can I drop off my bag?

Once you have your label here, you can drop off your send-back bag at your nearest Evri location.

👶 What’s the minimum number of items I can send?

We’re happy to receive any amount of clothes you’d like to send back — every little bit helps reduce waste. If you need more bags, feel free to order here.
